Event to Benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure Central Florida
The Villages, FL – On Friday, October 16th (with a rain date of Saturday, October 17th) a Symphony Under the Stars event will take place at The Villages Polo Grounds, with all proceeds to benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Gates will open at 6:00 pm with a spectacular performance by the Sumter Symphony Orchestra beginning at 7:00 pm.
Robert Fross, partner at Fross and Fross Financial in The Villages, will host the event in honor of his wife who is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer. 75% of the proceeds collected from this event will go directly to Susan G. Komen Central Florida, and will fund local education, prevention, and treatment of breast cancer.
The Sumter Symphony Orchestra, directed by Pasquale Valerio, will play a variety of classical and modern pieces sure to please every listener. The 50 piece orchestra features professional musicians from the Central Florida area, as well as two accomplished vocalists. Food and beverages will be available for purchase at the event, and a silent auction will also be held.
Ticket prices are $15 for general admission or $25 for VIP which includes preferred seating and two complimentary beverages. Tickets are available for purchase in The Villages at Fross and Fross Financial and Millhorn Law Offices, and in Ocala at Regions Bank Main Branch and the Performing Arts Conservatory.
