Our goal is that you simply know your options. Here are a few of the common questions we get:
I’m not sure where to start, what would you recommend for me?
If you look at a picture of yourself from 15, 20, or 30 years ago, it makes the process very simple. This is a good reference point to see how our faces have changed over time. The majority of us will have loss of volume, sagging, and damage to our skin. This is the easiest way to start a plan on which areas will benefit the most from a treatment.
How do I know which filler is right for me?
The choice of filler is critical to the successful treatment of wrinkles, folds, and facial depressions. An individual consultation will give you an accurate assessment of what is best suited for your needs. You can choose from temporary to permanent, on many areas of the face. Newer fillers are available, and more options will be available in the United States soon.
Is Botox® a filler?
Botox softens the frown lines or “angry lines” between the eyebrows, on the forehead, and in the crowsfeet area. Botox weakens the muscle to soften or prevent a wrinkle from forming. A filler increases the volume of the skin, and works differently from Botulinum toxin.
How are Permanent injections different?
Temporary injectable wrinkle fillers, are made of different kinds of natural or synthetic materials that are broken down and eventually absorbed by your body. Permanent fillers are different. The unique microspheres are not absorbed by your body and work with your skin to produce collagen which provides the support your skin needs for natural, long lasting results. Artefill® is the long lasting solution for wrinkle reduction that provides immediate results. When it comes to value, permanent fillers like Artefill® is a very popular choice..
How does Sculptra® work?
Sculptra® is a high satisfaction filler that can last for years by building your body’s own collagen. Results take time to develop, and an experienced injector can create very natural looking results with little or no downtime. Remember, not all injectors are created equal. Many know how to inject a product, though that does not mean that they can achieve expert results.
Are filler treatments safe?
The fillers available at ImageLift are FDA approved and have an excellent safety record. ImageLift takes every precaution to make your treatment safe and effective. If you have specific needs, fillers can also be used in an off-label fashion, which is very common in the medical industry.
Will the injections hurt?
As with any injection or rejuvenation procedure there may be some mild swelling or bruising. However, a variety of measures are used to minimize discomfort. Ice, topical anesthetic creams, and/or numbing medicine such as lidocaine are all used to minimize pain, bruising, and swelling. Dr. Castellano likes to tell the story of his three year old niece that needed stitches in her forehead. She came into the office, and did not shed one tear! If ImageLift can make her comfortable, we can certainly make you feel comfortable.
What if I need more than fillers?
At ImageLift, we have a wide variety of technologies to choose from. Ultrasound energy, laser technology, and years of experience with satisfied patients is the foundation of what we do. Surgical procedures are available, though you won’t need a full facelift or general anesthesia to achieve a natural looking more youthful appearance.
Filler treatments are becoming more common because they can have no downtime. Bruising and temporary swelling depend on the person and the amount of fillers used. ImageLift doctors use a gradual approach to avoid overcorrection and safety cannulas improve safety and reduce bruising.
ImageLift offers a variety of facial rejuvenation procedures including fillers, the non-surgical alternative to a facelift with minimal to no pain, no recovery time, instant results, and significant financial savings.
