He earned his medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa and completed his orthopaedic residency training at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. To further sharpen his expertise, Dr. Tankson pursued a prestigious foot and ankle fellowship at The Institute for Foot and Ankle Reconstruction at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland.

A familiar name in Lake County, Dr. Tankson has been serving the community since 2005 and joined the UF Health Orthopaedics team in January 2020. His deep roots in the area and his commitment to delivering a high standard of care have made him a trusted provider for patients of all ages and activity levels.

About Cedric Tankson, MD
Cedric J. Tankson, M.D., earned his medical degree from The University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida.
